These laws may require that you post and comply with your own privacy policy, which must be accessible to allto users. Your privacy policy must be compatible with allto’s privacy policy and this one.
When you sell using allto’s services, you will receive information from buyers and must determine what to do with their personal information such a s when communicating with buyers and entering into transactions with them. This means you are processing their personal information such as their name, email address and shipping address and to the extent you do so, under EU law, you are an independent controller of user’s data. You are responsible for protecting user’s data and personal information and complying with all relevant legal requirements in all jurisdictions you sell in and to.
As a data controller you will likely need to have and post your own privacy policy. In addition, you will also need to know how you will protect that data and process it. You may receive requests from users to access this data, remove or delete it or objections to processing it, which you are required to honour.

For example if you receive a user’s email address during a transaction, you may not use this information for unsolicited commercial message or unauthorized transactions.

Shipping method calculations can be done in real-time if you have an account with a postal service/courier and an API key or they can also be set up manually. In either case setting up your shipping methods correctly is important or customers will not be able to order your products.
Many customers today expect free shipping and if this is something that you are able to provide as part of your offering, then don’t forget to set up your shipping methods and then select the “free shipping” check box.
